I found this blog post by doing a picture search on google, for what I can’t quite remember, but the post caught my eye. I didn’t find the picture I was looking for, but I did find a thought that struck me as necessary. I need to weed out some books from my bookshelves.

My first thought was about these books that mister McEvoy was holding on to, I have not heard of them, and they must be good books if they are on his list of books to never get rid of. Of course I have attachments to different kinds of books, so maybe they will not be my cup of tea, but certainly I am interested in what other people consider essential reads and why.

So what books will I be weeding now that it’s on my mind? Hmm.. Tech manuals from 6 years ago, I guess those are the first to go. I don’t suppose I need to have books about how to use dreamweaver version 5 any longer, nor do I need the boxes and manuals for quicken 98. I look at these shelves and wonder why I have had these things taking up space for so long. I guess part of it is laziness and out of sight out of mind, but I also think that looking at my bookshelves takes me back to where I came from, where I was and the progression of how I have gotten to where I am today.

Of course I could just take some pictures of the bookshelves and make a through the years digital scrapbook I suppose, that would give a way to look back and clear out some shelf space and clutter. Hmm. perhaps a new way for people to take care of their emotional attachments with digital flickr and clear space for better feng shui. There’s a concept.

Now, what books could I never get rid of? Hmm.. the picture books from around the world, the sex books that I have enjoyed. Reference books like the prescription for nutritional healing. I may have to use that new web cam book inventory thing (or is it web cam bar code scanner?) that I saw on Amazon for this list.

I found a way to get lyrics with yahoo launch, very cool, because there are a few really hot songs that I have been turned onto by using the yahoo launchcast, both in browser and as a plug in with the messenger service. And I really am enjoying the lyrics look up I found today. But I can’t easily copy and past the lyrics to show them off and there for turn you onto the songs that I am enjoying today. I did find a way to print screen and save them to post hem, but I decided to click on the terms that yahoo has, and I guess gracenote is forcing them to post, and I wonder if using print screen to save and post the song lyrics would violate the terms as circumventing their DRM - isn’t DRM dead YET?

Anyways, I would hate to lose my yahoo account, or my launchcast service, so rather than giving you an easy way to see the lyrics I am digging, I guess I will post a link, which I know most of you will not bother to click on, and I wonder if the link will still be good a few months from now. Geeze. DRM for lyrics, really?

Link to lyrics for BT Remember at yahoo launch

Link to lyrics for Morcheeba Blindfold at yahoo music

Update 2 - Europe is considering a DRM standard? / Professors have arguments for music and video as fair use and deserving protection /

I am not trying to sell ads and use the lyrics for commercial use, just trying to get some new tunes in the head of some friends through their feed readers. Perhaps some creative commons “non commercial non derivs” licensing would be more reasonable gracenote? Or maybe your hands are being tied by music labels in some way who should consider a more reasonable agreement in the future, as should software vendors.

I’ve had my feel with dealing with ignorant people. In my day to day work I am surrounding by yes men and yes women who are use to doing what they are told and exactly what they are told (at least when the boss is around). I have a real problem with people who have no initiative and can’t open their mind to the spirit of the law, or spirit of a rule. I constantly find myself dealing with people doing stupid things in stupid ways and using the excuse of that’s what I was told.

Can’t people open their mind and think about the reasons why we are suppose to do things a certain way. Generally it is a specific end result that is desired, and sometime you have to adapt or adjust a way of doing something to get the intended result. Wake up people, think a little bit, even just a little.

Looking forward to catching up on some blogging, I had a great summer this year and it is now starting to get cold outside which means I will have more time to bore you with my blog posts about nothing that really matters in this world. To be honest I hate the cold weather with a passion and like going out in skimpy outfits and sun bathing by the pool, but now it is time to throw on the winter coat. Had a blast at waterparks and movie theaters this year and shopping around town and dining with friends on patios of our favorite restaurants. So now you know how I spent my summer, how did your summer go and what did you do?

I’m in love with a stripper. I have to admit it. She is gorgeous, and if she’d have me I would keep her happy and half naked at home dancing every night. Today she informed me that she is going to a new strip club that is opening in Huntsville Alabama. It’s going to be called Kitty’s Cabaret Strip Club in Huntsville.

I have been told that they are moving the plush velvet couches into a new VIP lapdance room, and I will be there on the opening weekend to see Jackie showing her big boobs and dancing and grinding the night away. From what I’ve heard this will be one of the nicest and biggest titty bars in Alabama. I can’t wait!

Jackie says the grand opening and her first week is September 6th - 9th. I can’t wait to check this place out, I’ve heard they have LA style vip skyboxes where we could enjoy girl on girl shows. Apparently the girls in Huntsville don’t get totally nude, so it’s the kind of place I can bring some friends and have a good time.

Maybe it’s just a headline, and this guy doesn’t really think this, but I find it quite offensive. He has a blog set up to showcase myspace hotties, or “girl’s that just do it for him” as he says. The headline he has for this one hot myspace profile is “Chera - I’m Guessing Easy to Bang if you Have a Grand to Blow” - now why is he guessing that? See his blog entry here, her myspace profile here.
I don’t see anything in her profile that says she fucks for money. I don’t see anything on her page that says she is looking to get into the porn business. He says that her profile is a must see because she is so hot that she MUST be in porn or something. Well obviously he looked at her profile, so why make such a slanderous statement?

All I see is that she is a super hot model looking to do more modeling work. Why are there all of these blogging geeks out there that are quick to assert that women are whores who will fuck for a thousand dollars because they spend a lot of time trimming their bodies and doing hair and makeup.

Keep blogging about the girls who “do it for you” that you will never meet, because having that kind of “<strike>money can buy hot women</strike>, money can buy women who stay fit and express themselves in beautiful ways” attitude will certainly keep you from meeting any real women.

I just went by an art school a friend is attending, and walking in I noticed first all of the big monitors everyone was using for design; oh I have got to have one of those big screens. Anyhow, I finally got to the back where they were doing pictures and after my eyes adjusted to the darkness I had a chance to focus on the girls in the light, and wow! When the camera started flashing they seemed to forget where they were or how many people were in the audience of the studio. Maybe they just couldn’t see everyone in the dark, but what started out as a basic glam model shoot turned almost softcore porn with some friskiness that I haven’t seen in some time!

I am going to have to go back to school for some more photography classes, and this time I am going be taking them at an art school, we didn’t get to have that much fun in class at the community college where I was!

I had heard a friend talking about ask dot com coming out with a site redesign, and she had said that search results would pull a graphic preview of multiple pages within results, giving a similar look to results like I would imagine the microsoft surface or iphone graphic navigation. I did not see this feature the way I had envisioned it. Perhaps I did not know where to look.

I did like the new options at ask.com - it seems to offer many more options for narrowing down search results, and the binocular preview of sites that can be obtained similar to what snap preview does is really cool. I like the buttons and options. I did notice some straightforward, easy to change options like to search or not to search within adult sites and such was very easy to use.

Looking for my girl Jackie Melon by doing a search for big boobs, and then doing a blog search for Jackie Melon did not turn up the results that I had hoped for. Perhaps I should have tried the blog search with quotes. At this point I think that having more suggestions like “try your search with quotes” in order to return those kind of results just may make this my favorite search portal.

I really like this way of searching, I am very impressed with the options, and keeping the sidebar I believe will help newer web users filter down results better. This should definitely be something to send to friends and see if they enjoy using it.

My only complaint is when I did a search for big boobs, there were some sponsored results displayed and I could not see any kind of separation between what was sponsored results and what wasn’t. This is an issue I have with LCD screens and especially affects me with google when searching on my laptop. I assume that there is some kind of slight variation in background color that just does not show up well with my dell LCD or my gateway notebook lcd screen. This could be fixed with newer, better screens int he future, or maybe the search engines will fix this another way. Time will tell.

Steve goes on to explain how today’s women have many more opportunities to find mates, with the internet, myspace, mobile communications, adult dating sites and such that are available today, we have a lot of options and we no longer need to sit around and wait for a boy to call in our small home town like women of so many past generations. With this post feminist mindset and all this communication technlogy we have become material girls who are more interested in playing the field looking for men with money, and more men with money. Some girls I know do take this too far, but who am I to judge? I’m sure there are those who silently judge me.

Is this true? Are we more like men now? Playing the feild, always looking for better and better partners? I suppose this could have something to do with the first time in history that we have more unmarried women in this country than married. I also think we have turned the tables on men finally with the whole “why buy the cow when you get the milk for free” thing. You know that saying means something like “why marry the girl when she’s giving you the pussy already?”

Yep, I know I have turned the tables. Why settle down and be expected to cook and clean for just one guy when I can get nice presents and dinners and dancing from several? Ha ha, bet they never saw this coming. Madonna was on to something, material girls get expensive things, married girls, well I know one that got a new TV, so her hubby can watch football on a big screen.
